I have started book three of the House of Crow series. Young Jedadiah Crow joins the Union Cavalry during the American Civil War, where he meets his future partner Earl Stump. I really got into it and wrote 2,000 plus words today.

Mountain Man Isaiah Crow and his companion Jacques LeRue, arrive in Alta California after a long journey. They come across banditos about to attack a group of men, women, and children by a hot spring. The two Mountain Men intercede and kill the banditos, saving the group.
